It’s long overdue – and much needed.
A new logo, a new brand-mark – that’s what I’m talking about here. Making the Moment’s current logo (pictured at the bottom of this post for posterity’s sake) is definitely in need of updating. (Ok, let’s be honest, a total overhaul!) As a creative wedding photography company that gears a bit more towards the non-traditional, it’s been really hard having our brand mascot be something that is rather complicated and clunky.
That being said – this blog post is about what’s to come. And I could really use some help making some decisions here folks! My good friend Rob over at MadHouse has been helping me out with the new logo designs. After Rob provided me some initial concepts, I’ve played around a bit with Rob’s stuff and have ready two finalists for the new logo. Penny for your thoughts anyone?
Why are they in black and white you ask? The final logo will incorporate Making the Moment’s brand colors, but (as I’ve learned with logo design) it’s important to not let color’s sway your judgment of what the mark actually is. So, for now, just take in the typography, the shapes, and the feels.
