It’s official – Making the Moment has a new logo.
Not too long ago I wrote a little blog entry on Making the Moment’s efforts at re-branding ourselves. It’s been (and is) quite the process.
If you’re a young photographer – my best advice I can give you in regards to branding, is to nail your identity down right the first time. Working to adjust your business mid-way through is a bit of a hard-ship, but not necessarily a bad thing. Rebranding yourself and modifying your identity is a normal part of business, but it’s best to start right if you can.
Thanks be to the amazing Rob Seiffert and MadHouse for his incredible design work and efforts at helping Making the Moment come up with a new logo. Although I’ve helped a bit with the design process, the final results are almost entirely a result of Rob’s incredible creativity, professionalism, and wonderful friendship.
What’s been great, is the AMAZING feedback I got from so many of you regarding Making the Moment’s new logo. I am so incredibly thankful for all your thoughts, they were so valuable in making the choice for what Making the Moment would do our logo options. Without even a prompting, many of you offered up the possibility that Making the Moment would branch out from wedding photography into many other venues of photography – and that’s just what we’re doing.
Over the next few weeks you’ll see some changes around here – I plan on fully updating our web-site and blog. You see, Making the Moment’s new logo isn’t just a new identity for us, it signifies a new direction in our creative efforts as a photography company. For the last few years, Making the Moment has been a full-service wedding provider. From here on out, we will specialize in creative photography solutions for all aspects of life – family, infant, event, and of course wedding photography.
In short, I’d like to call what we do “Life Photography”. And I think our new logo embraces our creative and modern approach to all types of photography.
Without further ado – here’s our new Logo! We’ll be working on flushing it through our new website in the weeks to come.
