Dan and Lindsey are my kind of people. From the moment they told me what their wedding was going to be like, I have been so excited to be a part of it. They are laid back, artistic, really non traditional and LOVE my wide angle shots so I was pretty much in heaven on their engagement shoot.
They are really into bike riding and their friends build bikes and bike racks so we were able to go shoot in their workspace which was really cool. Lately, I’ve really been trying to personalize my sessions so they reflect the couples actual life instead of just going to pretty places. 
The only way to do work that is unique, is to make it reflect who people really are. So I was really excited about shooting around their town as well as at the bike shop.
I’d love to say it was planned to have her head where that heart is, but that was just a happy accident. What are the odds that would just happen on it’s own though?!
I love shots that are so peaceful and lovely like the one on the left, but the one on right is actually who these two are. Dan is one funny dude and I loved how he was able to make her laugh.
Obviously….we had to get a photo with the kids. 🙂

While we were shooting, just a bit of the sunset could be seen from where we were and lindsey saw it and immediately knew of the perfect spot to get the sunset and the city so we went running to the car to get there in time. We almost got run over a couple times shooting in the middle of the street but it’s totally worth it!
I had so much fun shooting this session and CAN NOT WAIT for their wedding!!
