Meet Jaimie and Rob. They met and live in Japan. How cool is that? They have been there for a while now but Jaimie was originally from Wooster, Ohio and Rob was from Seattle, Washington. These two made it back to Wooster to celebrate big with family and friends. Their backyard wedding was amazing. Enjoy it…
I mean, they killed this wedding. In a good way, of course. So many cool details throughout the day.
It was one of those wedding days where I felt more like a guest than the photographer.
The whole day’s festivities took place right there on Jaimie’s parent’s property. We spent the morning there hanging out as the guys/gals were getting ready. Everything was super chill and laid back.
And by “super chill” I mean the guys were playing Mario Cart. What could be better on your wedding day? The girls were also having fun, but they stuck to the hair/makeup/getting ready thing, unlike the fellas ๐
Rob was so excited to see Jaimie. I love it when grooms are giddy to see their bride.
This was a great “first look”. It was full of emotion and joy. And it all happened in a backyard ๐
Their creative images were fun to craft in a setting I don’t typically photograph in. I enjoy the nature feel.
Jaimie’s dad had a pretty sweet ride we took some photos in prior to the ceremony too. Very cool.
What a great bridal party – so fun being around them all day.
One of the best things about having a backyard wedding is that we didn’t have to go anywhere for creative photos. Everything happened right there and saved us a ton of time, which made for a stress-free day.
We had amazing weather for an outdoor ceremony. The temperature was perfect. Which was awesome.
Most brides and grooms hope for no rain. But for outdoor ceremonies…I hope for 72 degree weather ๐
The ceremony ended and the party began. Wait until you see the details they made.
Everything was handcrafted and amazing. I was truly impressed with it all.
Of course you’ve gotta have life-sized Jenga at your wedding reception. Duh!
This backyard wedding bash happened on a perfect night. Not too hot or cold.
These two families are filled with happy people. And I think that is evident. Happy people are the best.
Isn’t this a pretty awesome backyard setup? It was perfect and made for a great party location.
Brides and grooms take note – do your wedding like Jaimie and Rob. They did it right!
T’was an awesome day filled with family, friends, laughter, and Jenga. Jaimie and Rob – I thoroughly enjoyed my time with you and wish you two nothing but the best.
