Alicia & Brandon’s wedding just so happened to be in Akron. These two are from Ohio but now live in Florida. We had a fun day in downtown Akron at Greystone Hall. It was my first time shooting at Greystone and I was quite impressed. Plus, there’s a ton of cool locations for creative photography within a few blocks.
We couldn’t have asked for a nicer wedding day. It was warm and the sun was shining.
Alicia’s dress was hung on one of the doors outside of Greystone – the doors/walls above reminds me a bit of Cleveland’s Old Courthouse downtown. Extremely elegant and cool lines 🙂
I’m all about the details. I love photographing shoes and jewelry in the morning.
The bridesmaids and groomsmen spent the morning getting ready at Greystone Hall.
What’s a wedding day without a little Mimosa?? The girls celebrated the day’s festivities right from the get-go.
Alicia and Brandon decided to do a “first look”. That was a great decision on their part as we were able to knock out all of their creative photos with the bridal party before the ceremony even started. This makes for a super chill day and keeps stress levels low. I’m a big fan and a firm believer in these, schedule permitting.
We were able to do their creative session right by taking our time and not rushing anything. We took a stroll a couple times around the block to find places to shoot… and there were plenty.
I always enjoy spending time with bridal parties. Best friends hanging out together makes for a fun-filled time and lots of laughs. Having the bridal party around also tends to loosen things up a bit and is just flat out fun.
I love the image above with the couple in the car photobombing the bridal party. Perfect timing.
Alicia truly shined on her wedding day. Brandon, you looked good too, but it’s all about the bride, right??
These two made life simple by having their ceremony and reception at Greystone. Easy on the guests too!
Greystone has a beautiful reception hall. It had a cool balcony I could shoot from to get a different perspective.
This was a really fun reception. Lots of dancing, lots of partying. Lots of food, drinks, and cake too!
Brandon and Alicia danced the night away with family and close friends. Such a fun night.
It got a little rowdy in the AK-ROWDY 😉 Alicia and Brandon – much love to you both. Enjoy married life!
