Making the Moment Photography

As photographers, we think senior portraits are a lot of fun, and we truly enjoy getting the opportunity to do them. As you’ll see across this site, our approach to photography is a custom approach, more non-traditional in nature. We’re not the type of photographers who simply sit people in front of backdrops in the studio, instead we prefer working from scratch – being more creative.

Different From your Friend’s Portraits

Because we believe in making a photo session fun (not stiff and awkward!) we like to make sure the location we choose is fun, full of potential, and fitting to the personality of the senior we’re working with. Usually we recommend unique locations, certain areas that we’ve discovered that are “treasure troves” of creative possibility. Whether you’d like more of an urban setting, or enjoy nature – there are so many great locations we can recommend!

When working with seniors for their senior portraiture, we embrace the concept of throwing out the “traditional” approach, and try to make every session an individual artistic session. We truly mean this – we deeply desire to work with young men and women who want to approach our time as a unique, uncanned, creative session.

Artistic Retouching Included

Here’s the nice thing about what we do – being more of an artist with how we work, all images we make available for order have been artistically retouched (versus just providing “off-the-camera” images). You’ll get a nice mix of images, from full color to black and white, to other fun artistic renderings. We do provide general/minor blemish retouching with our sessions, but we can certainly take care of any details needed (braces removal, etc).

Session Investment

Our creative senior sessions are much better than what “traditional” studios offer. We include a 60 minute session with Brett Yacovella (our lead creative), unique locations that fit your unique style, and a our rockstar proof-site from where you can make high quality print orders from our lab. And better than anything – if we connect on facebook – we’ll post some images for you to tag up and share with friends!

To get the photographic works of art that no one else has – we like to be as unique as we can with any given shoot. Not to sell ourselves too much, but sessions with us are a blast – a time to remember and enjoy!

Each session with Brett is truly a relational and artistic investment, not a transaction or simply a contract when you choose to work with us.  The investment we make into our work and to each senior is substantial, committing to you the very best customer service, artwork & style.   Our session investments are built around a base session fee, and after the artwork is finished we help each senior and family build image investment options that suit them best.  Typical families can expect to invest between 750-1500.

Additional Printing Options

Beyond the assortment of wallet size prints and other standard prints we offer, we also have some nice hard-back books, graduation announcement cards, and other fun items available for order separately if you’d like.
