a nice handy list of

Photography Locations?

Looking for some great photography locations for your Cleveland area wedding? Then you’ve come to the right spot. Although Making the Moment serves brides and grooms all across Ohio, we tend to do a lot of weddings in the Cleveland and Toledo areas.

As I’m often asked for wedding photography locations in Cleveland, I thought I’d put together a small (and growing) list. I’ve set this list up complete with contact information for you, booking rates, and other good info – this way (if you decide to look more into a specific wedding photography location) everything is ready for you.

I always think a back-up plan for shooting indoors is a great plan – almost a necessity. Although there are a ton of options for outdoor shooting, it’s always nice to have something up your sleeve in case of rain. Just a heads up – many venues require a deposit and reservation for their booking.

I actually got married in the zoo- in the cat, primates and aquatic house. It did make for some lively backdrops, both for posed and candid shots. Most of my favorite photos are on my blog. Wonderful place to have a wedding.

  2. Cindi S. says:

    Brett,

Thanks for including PlayhouseSquare on this list. Just wanted to let you know that the contact for wedding photography here is Carol Lee Vella. The rest of the info is correct.

    Best,

Hi Cindy – I’ve fixed the list – thanks for the update!

Meagan – great story – what a fun wedding, that must have been fun to shoot. I love your blog btw!!

  4. Tracy says:

Do you have any ideas for the Lake County or Mayfield/Beachwood areas? We won’t be able to go as far as Cleveland…

    • Brett says:

Absolutely – what time of year is your wedding? Feel free to give us a call/email on our contact page (right here!) if you’re considering working with us for your wedding – I have some great places that work but are a bit more off the beaten path. :) They definitely don’t work for every photographer – but are a nice fit for our type of work.

      • Keri says:

        Hi Brett!
Also wondering if you have any lake county options or mayfield/gates mills options? We were going to do downtown willoughby and kirtland, but unfortunately the weekend of our wedding there are two festivals. Do you have any other lake county or mayfield options? Thanks,
        Keri

        • Brett says:

Hi Keri – Thanks for the touch base – and congrats on getting married soon! Hmm – honestly, it all depends on your wedding photographer’s style and preferences, as not all Cleveland wedding photography locations work for all wedding photographers.- I do have some of the major ones listed on our blog, but some of the more “off the beaten path” type stuff might not work for every photographer, and is definitely geared towards our unique style. We tend to make recommendations to the couples we work with and help them plan out photography locations and time – has your photographer done so for you? He/she might be a good resource for planning out that sort of thing – as they probably have a good listing or feel for where there style of photography comes to life best!
