I love these two. Mikey & Holly’s wedding day was flat out stinkin’ awesome. Take a look at their day!
They live in Chicago but ventured back to Geneva on the Lake to have a stellar wedding.
A bunch of friends and family flew in from all over the country for their wedding. Shows what kind of people these two are. And they had one of the largest wedding parties I’ve ever photographed. It was cray.
I love Holly’s dress. Very non-traditional, but that’s these two to a tee. All the details of their wedding resembled who they were as people and as a couple. And I’m a fan of that.
Holly and Mikey decided to do a first look prior to their ceremony.
This is one of my favorite first looks I’ve witnessed. In my opinion, first looks aren’t a necessity, but they sure do take a lot of stress off couples to cram photos in after the ceremony and before reception.
Killer shoes Mikey. I like them a lot. Way to be awesome at life.
Like I said, there were quite a few people in the wedding party which made for a really awesome time.

Cause that’s what these two are about. Family, friends, and fun. You can really tell they live life to it’s fullest.
Sometimes things got a little crazy…but I guess that happens when alcohol is involved 😉
Their ceremony was right next to Lake Erie…what a backdrop! Such a beautiful day on the lake.
Having your wedding at the Lodge at Geneva on the Lake is a really sweet thing.

Sometimes people photobomb my photos. And I’m ok with that. But if she did it again, I woulda made her sit in time out. The wrath of Luke would have been unleashed. I’m kidding, people. I’m kidding! Kind of.

So people danced. And straight up got down. Super fun time. Like suuuuper fun.
