Reinvention and experimentation are the very heart and soul of the artwork we create here. I mean that – we don’t like to “play it safe” photographically – we really enjoy pushing ourselves as artists.
That’s what Tom and Felicia loved about our artwork when they asked us to be their wedding photographers. Best yet – they trusted us to try something fun on their engagement session a bit. Felicia and Tom didn’t want the standard “same old / same old” engagement session photography (you know the “lets go make out in public while walking down train tracks” kind of look 🙂 ).
But they didn’t want something that was super strange or “inaccessible”. They wanted artwork that represented them and their love – and they trusted us to do it. (PS friends- trust your photographers – this is the kind of work that will happen when you empower your photographer to be the artist)
As twilight approached, we played with the landscape a bit, I love coaching and relaxing my couples.
I ♥ this one – the big country sky is my favorite at night.
I love this couple. I am SO excited to be their photographer. Tom and Felicia – thank you for trusting me to craft some cool artwork for you. I had SO much fun with you two!
