Brining unique visions to life is my jam. I’ve been a professional wedding photographer for nearly two decades in Cleveland now, and the drive that that fuels my work is a desire for unique execution. I look for trust with every couple I work with; but more than trust I look for partnership in creativity. Trust allows me to fearlessly create and execute the artwork Making the Moment is known for. Partnership allows me to craft wedding photography that is personable and soulfully tangible.
Natasha and Abhishek trust me. I felt it as I lead them through our creative engagement session at the Hyatt Arcade in Cleveland recently. When they partnered with me for their upcoming Indian wedding next year, the partnership wasn’t simply a financial one [ them hiring me as a wedding photographer ] but a partnership in craft. The outcome of honing their heartfelt desires into images that communicate the essence of who they are is what you’re seeing in the artwork below.
Sunsets and bike paths along the north shore of Cleveland are important to this couple; the two traverse this path often in their time togehter, and always love to catch the sunset on our north shore. We made sure to capture this golden hour together towards the end of our photography session.
Natasha was in LOVE with the ambience and class of the Hyatt Arcade in Cleveland; so we made sure to have part of our engagement session at the historic cleveland Hyatt Arcade.

That’s right. Every word you’ve read on this page so far regarding this wonderful wedding [ catch the alliteration there. Pretty brilliant, right? ] has all been word-smithed and crafted by us [ we’re not only gifted wedding photographers, but also not too shabby in the content writing department ] Humble Brag / Self enthusiasm aside; we mean every word on this page, but it’s important that you hear from our couple too.
We asked a few questions of them about their wedding; and hope you enjoy their answers 😀
What was one of your favorite parts of your session?
My favorite part of the session was how easy it was to work with Brett and his team on-site. He efficiently used the session to capture multiple elements of photography – with intentional usage of lighting, angles, and poses. It took all of the stress off of our hands and inspired the trust and confidence to be ourselves and have fun.
How did you pick your outfits for your session?
We chose one traditional Indian outfit – even had time to change into a non-traditional elegant outfit – and finally a casual one for an outdoor setting!
What was it like to work with us?
I loved how relaxed and comfortable Brett made us feel throughout the session. We never felt like we were rushed or confused about his directions when shooting.
What are you most excited about for your wedding?
We are most excited about being surrounded by all of our friends and family — cherishing the love and happiness that they will bring.
If you could describe your partner’s performance during the session in a few short sentences or phrases, how would you do so?
A little biased here – but Abhishek is always camera-ready 😍. His dimples steal the spotlight. It was so much fun to be ourselves and be silly — Brett allowed such an easy environment in which we could feel natural and excited to celebrate our love for eachother.
Where will your wedding reception be?
Our ceremony and reception will be in the brides hometown of Cincinnati, Ohio.
Do you have a favorite image or two that really connects with your heart? Why?
A lot of our favorite adventures in Cleveland have ended with a stunning sunset. We asked Brett and his team to try to capture a similar setting and he timed it perfectly so that we got several photos by a lakeside sunset! This scene will always remind us of our days of falling in love amidst the natural beauty which surrounds us.
I simply love the duality of their settings for their engagement session [ the Hyatt Arcade and the Beach ]. They provided strikingly different feelings and evoked completely unique emotions and attire.
