That’s right. This weekend. Arun & Neha are having a phenomenal Indian Wedding at LaCentre in Westlake this coming weekend. I’m FREAKING excited for it too – I love these two already, and I’m thrilled to spend time with them again over the Memorial day weekend.
Cool idea – Arun and Neha are a crafty couple and made these letters (or at least painted them?) themselves. We had a pretty tricky time standing them up in the field, but I’m pretty crafty too and stuck some sticks behind them to prop them up. I felt really smart – until I realized I had the ampersand backwards at first.
Meet Neha. Arun is marrying this wonderful lady this weekend. They met years ago during their undergrad at Akron, and fell in love.
And you can see it too. This is for real. Spending the evening with them the week before last it was obvious how much they cared for eachother.
Neha’s Dress? beautiful. It’s a perfect summer dress for a lazy and relaxed spring engagement session out in the country. It even had pockets. If I was a girl I’d require that every dress I had would have pockets on it. Heck, if I was a guy who wore dresses, I’d require all of my dresses to have pockets also. Pockets are awesome.
For all the talk about pockets and dresses – please don’t miss Neha’s beauty here. (Arun, can I say that? much respect to you my man – but your fiance is super pretty.). The wind caught her dress at just the right moment while I was creating the image… this is one of my favorite images from the session.
Look at these two. They’re a perfect fit. Arun has a friendly and kind confidence about him. He’ the kind of guy you feel welcome and comfy around.
I ♥ details.
It was a super cool night for our engagement session. A storm threatened here and there throughout the evening, but really ended up just giving us some nice clouds to work from.
This could be one of my most favoritest (I know – not a word – but go with it) images ever. Neha can pull off that sassy elegance and striking look perfectly.
I love this image so much I couldn’t decide if it should be in color or not. For what it’s worth – I hand tone all of my images (even my black and whites) – so I spent a ton of time creating both in our post production process. I love them both.
Pockets. Again. Pockets = awesome.
Bring these two together and you can’t help but enjoy them.
I cannot tell you how excited I am for their wedding this weekend. I adore them greatly and am honored to be their wedding photographer.
