A Cleveland Wedding

By November 26, 2008January 10th, 2018photos, Wedding

On Saturday, September 6 two wonderful people were wed. Lisa and John Holmes – these two were SO much fun to work with. The very first time we met was at Fat Fish Blue downtown – we shared a Great Lakes Beer (my personal favorite brewery) , and talked about how their wedding photos were going to turn out. And turn out they did!

Most of our day was spent exploring downtown Cleveland, finding all sorts of fun inspirational photo-spots. It was wonderful – after their wedding at Cleveland’s Old Stone Church (fabulous place for your wedding) we took a tour of downtown finding inspiration around every corner. From recreating the opening to the “Friends” TV show, to mimicking secret agents at the Great Lakes Science center, we had a blast. To cap off the night, these two celebrated with friends and family aboard the GoodTime III.

I really enjoy these two – they’re a sweet couple, and were a blast to work with. I was really struck by their openness and easy going attitude. Couple that with Lisa’s enthusiasm and excitement about her wedding photography and you have a recipe for lots of fun artistic photography.

As is becoming a tradition around here – here is a sneak peek to their day. Enjoy the collage of a handful of my fav’s. If you get a chance to see their entire day, make sure you see their Polaroid “pre-ceremony” pics… some of the funniest and classic moments ever caught on Polaroid film.
Lisa & John – all the best to you!
