Extra! Extra! Read all about it! Jared and Kayleen tie the knot. Their wedding took place in Cleveland but for one special day it was New York’s sister city. Jared purposed to Kayleen in New York City on top of the Empire state building – hence the fun NY theme. 
They both love New York, inspired by this we did our best to give their Cleveland wedding photography the look and feel of a fun but classic Big Apple event.
The Arcade Building in downtown Cleveland was chosen as the wedding reception venue and I must say these two could not have picked a more perfect spot. Old world charm with a big City look, and even a large flag that hung from the glass atrium.
At first glance it made me feel like I just stepped into Grand Central Station with all the brass trim, elevated walkways and the large clock in the center.
The The Arcade is also owned by the Hyatt, and is the location that both the guys and dolls got all gussied up.
They just don’t make stairs like this anymore. Now a days they are made of concrete and metal with no angles or spirals, so I was so pumped when I saw these descending steps, but it was Kayleen’s dress that made this creative wedding dress photograph so stunning.
If you have never been to downtown Cleveland, it has a much older feel to it than many cities today, which is one the the reasons Making the Moment Photography is such a perfect fit here. Our fun, yet vintage wedding photography style is a perfect match for people who live and work in Cleveland. Old rotation doors, tall buildings and back alleyways also made the images have a perfect feel for Kayleen and Jared’s wedding day.

These gangsters couldn’t decide who was going to hold the rings so they had to settle things the old fashion way:) 
The church that Jared and Kayleen chose for their wedding. The Liberty Hill Baptist Church in Cleveland had and old but unique look with a doomed ceiling that felt like something you would see in an old film shot in New York City, just stunning on the inside. This made for some perfect wedding photography inside of the Liberty Hill Baptist Church.
One of the coolest moments I have ever seen in a wedding ceremony was Kayleen and Jared washing each other’s feet. A truly humbling experience.
Cleveland may not have the Brooklyn Bridge or the GW but they have some of their own impressive water crossings, and I love their eye popping color.
This wedding reception at The Arcade is one of my favorite wedding receptions to date. A grand staircase, perfect lighting, and a cake that fit the scale of the room perfectly these made for some incredibly stunning Cleveland Arcade Wedding Photography!
Their wedding cake was gorgeous! Don’t worry– Jared made sure that Kayleen knew just how good it tasted!
The Arcade is located across the street from East 4th Street, a popular hot spot in downtown Cleveland where french style lights hang across the street – perfect for some creative wedding photography. Jared and Kayleen finished off their amazing day here, leaving their reception for a short creative wedding photography session making for some magical images. Even though their wedding was over in a New York minute, their candid & unique wedding photographs will help them remember these moments for a life time.
