A Tribute to Love & Our City

Meet Mike and Jen. We originally planned on shooting this awesome engagement session at the Perk Plaza downtown, but when we got there we ran into about 1,000 people with plans of their own! So even though our plans changed I think it actually turned out a lot better!Mike and Jen being Cleveland enthusiasts knew of a few good spots and I really love when people suggest places to go that mean something to them. This first place was right near where Mike works! He runs a website called the Civic Commons. I think this is awesome that they are so passionate about bringing the community together and building relationships. After all isn’t that what like is all about? It’s pretty obvious that we had a great time with these two. They really know how to enjoy each other and Mike knew exactly how to make Jen laugh on command. Needless to say, we had a lot of fun!I really love this little area I am a huge fan of older architecture and handcrafted wordwork. It has almost as much character as these guys!I am also a huge fan of bringing pets along on shoots. This big guy was full of energy and love and you can tell they really love him! On the shot in the lefthand corner he was sitting right next to me… and at one point he just laid down and put his head on my lap. Super sweet dog!THIS.And then we have their personality in physical form. Mike in particular is an excellent funny face maker! 😛To cap off the night we stumbled upon this gem of a location. I mean come ON.Thanks Mike and Jen for braving the dirt piles. I think it was worth it! 🙂I love this. A lot.Mike and Jen are great representation of a Cleveland-ite… Cleveland-eer? Clevelandian? Don’t judge me I’m new here. The point is I am glad they are here and I can’t wait to shoot their wedding!! Excited for you guys!THEEEND
