Emily and Nirupam had two ceremonies in one day. An Indian wedding in Cleveland and a western wedding at the Old Stone Church. AKA double the pleasure, double the fun. It was a fun packed day of celebration.
The Indian wedding ceremony and the wedding reception all took place at the Marriott at the Key Bank building in downtown Cleveland. The Marriott in Cleveland is an awesome place for an Indian Wedding!
As Emily was getting ready, the guys were getting ready to participate in the Barat outside. One of my favorite things about Indian Weddings is the Barat.
This Barat was pretty cool. It completely shut down Rockwell Avenue outside of the Marriott. Barats are awesome, and as a wedding photographer in Cleveland who specializes in Indian Weddings, I love seeing the fun and celebration they bring to the day.
Like for real. The guests and wedding party owned Rockwell Avenue. Lots of dancing and celebration.
As the Barat came to a close, everyone headed inside the Cleveland Mariott for the Indian ceremony.
And after the ceremony ended, we headed back outdoors for creative images with the entire bridal party.
Emily and Nirupam were beaming all day. Don’t they look great?
The dress Emily wore for the Indian ceremony was beautiful.
But so was her “traditional” dress. Extremely elegant and timeless.
It was then time to freshen up and prepare for the western wedding at Old Stone Church.
Which took place at the Old Stone Church one block away. I absolutely love Old Stone Church Weddings.
It’s architecture and character are what make it stand out to me. Not too many of these gems left.
We then headed back out for a second creative session. Only this time, in traditional wedding clothes 🙂
Well done on the flowers, Emily. They look amazing – Molly Taylor Designs did a great job!
Like I said, these two couldn’t stop beaming all day. I’d say they were just a little excited.
So then we strolled into their wedding reception at the Cleveland Marriott at Key Center. Then the party began.
For real – check out this cake by Wild Flour Bakery – phenomenal.
It was a night to remember. Everyone had a blast. The dance floor was packed at the Cleveland Marriott at Key Center! A party like this is amazing, much kudos to Rankin Events who coordinated everything!
I really enjoyed your multi-cultural wedding day Emily & Nirupam. Thanks for having me 🙂
