Bright, beautiful, happy. Purva and Manas’s wedding at the Renaissance Hotel in Cleveland was definitely one for the books. If you’ve been following along here for a while, then you know we hold a special place in our hearts for Indian Weddings. Purva and Manas’s does not disappoint. I promise you, you won’t be able to keep yourself from smiling once you see these two radiating their wedding weekend joy 🤗
Their wedding artwork is something magical. By the time you get to the end of this post, you’ll feel like you know them. Their personalities shine through their photographs, along with their love [ we LOVE love! ]. Not only did we get to show off a super fun couple and beautifully colorful Indian wedding details, we also got to show off one of our favorite Cleveland wedding venues: the Renaissance Hotel [ soon to be the Hotel Cleveland ]!
Before we dive ALL the way in, I give you a little sneak peek into the Renaissance Hotel – and the grandeur of the venue itself. Of course, Purva and Manas did not struggle one bit to match the fancy level. They only enhance the elegance.

The sheer amount of color and details might be my favorite part of Indian wedding design. And it makes for STUNNING imagery.

That’s right. Every word you’ve read on this page so far regarding this wonderful wedding [ catch the alliteration there. Pretty brilliant, right? ] has all been word-smithed and crafted by us [ we’re not only gifted wedding photographers, but also not too shabby in the content writing department ] Humble Brag / Self enthusiasm aside; we mean every word on this page, but it’s important that you hear from our couple too.
We asked a few questions of Purva and Manas about their wedding; and hope you enjoy their answers 😀
What was it like to work with us?
We absolutely loved working with the Making the Moment team for our wedding weekend – they were always ready to roll with the schedule delays, made us feel extremely comfortable during our poetraits and had so much fun! And not to mention they handled all of the chaotic-ness of a big Indian wedding with lots of grace and respect for all of our guests!
What did you love about your wedding?
Home video made by Manas’ cousins, first look and dancing the night away during our reception
Do you have a favorite image or two that really connects with your heart? Why?
Too many!!! Some really great shots of us two from each event that capture our personalities. And Our family portraits already look awesome on our parents’ wall!
Did you have a theme you were trying to hit for your wedding [ vibe / color palette / etc ]?
Only theme was for reception night – “a starry night” with color palette [ shades of blue and gold ], light up dance floor.
All those details don’t come together on their own. As the saying goes, it takes a village of creators, artists, and visionaries to pull it off. Wait. Is that the saying? Do we actually have trope sayings about weddings and wedding vendors now?🤷♀️
Every part of their lovely Indian wedding in Cleveland was beautifully coordinated and attended to.
Garba anyone? Yes please.
As you can probably tell from these images, the energy levels on the dance floor at the Sangeet [ celebration the night prior to their wedding ] were also off the charts 📈
The weekend celebrations continue! As if Purva wasn’t already a stunning bride. Look at her shining! I always take a moment to capture a few crafted portraits once a bride’s makeup is finished [ everything is fresh, and usually we’re all excited ]. They’re often some of my favorite wedding photographs of the weekend.
Manas obviously agrees.

But first…
There was much more partying to be had. Let👏 us 👏 Barat 🐴
Complete with the groom’s larger-than-life childhood picture held up for all of Cleveland to behold! Easily one of the best additions you can have at your indian wedding barat in cleveland; giant pictures of your child-like faces.
Fast forward; Purva was cool as a cucumber🥒 as she approached her future hubby.
Let’s talk about this idiom for a moment; “cool as a cucumber🥒”. Wouldn’t someone who is relatively the body temperature of a chilled vegetable be NOT a good thing? Why do we use this idiom?

Every bride needs her girls around her on her wedding day. If for no other reason than to make her laugh for the pictures.
Aaaand here we go! I told you, the Renaissance Hotel is incredible. The classy elegance that just oozes out of this image.

Perfection, even down to the sweet treats. We might have had NOM🤤 or three.
The light up dance floor and tasteful pyrotechnics really made the reception one to remember [ Kudos to DJ Samir of Crown entertainment ]
It definitely motivated the guests to get their groove on!
And provided the perfect backdrop for a sweet moment between our newly married couple ❤️
And we go out with a bang! The perfect ending to a perfect weekend of love, happiness, and lots of laughs. Thank you so much, Purva and Manas, for letting us be a part of it!
