For Joe and Lindsey love started in Columbus during school while training for their professions.
It was an instant connection, and when Joe got his first job in Cleveland he asked Lindsey to come with, and wait for it….BOOM, love happened!. Some couples just work and are supposed to be together. Where he is weak she is strong, he lifts her up when she is down…yada yada yada….they’re perfect. But it’s more than that, they have this special love where they just get each other at every level, making their wedding the perfect amount of fanfare and fashion.
I want to start this post with one of my favorite images of this couple, in one of the most epic locations in Cleveland. It says a lot about who Joe and Lindsey are. The funny thing is, I didn’t even now it existed until the wedding day. I had several locations planned, but Joe told me he had secured time at the Vault in the 9 where they live. Once we arrived I think I said this place rocks about 50 times, but what was even more amazing was how much their fashion fit the location. Joe and Lindsey looked amazing.
The day started at Marengo Luxury Spa in the Arcade. The girls spent several hours making themselves look perfect for the wedding. Lindsey has a twin, can you tell who is getting her hair done, Lindsey, or her sister?
Lindsey’s dress was the perfect mix of fashion and vintage flare, and I absolutely love the way it looks with this old staircase and all the shadow.
You may remember from a previous post on our blog about Joe being a huge sports fan. These cuff links were the perfect gift to his groomsmen, each marking who their favorite teams are.
Whenever groomsmen are all close friends and family the jokes may not be appropriate but they are hilarious.
Gray curtains in the room, mixed with gray dresses that matched make these very real moments almost seem staged. The door in the suite had a mirror which I used to give the image a timeless feel.
Light, lines, and Lindsey in black and white, beautiful!
I had the freedom in this wedding to take a lot of big risks photographically, and it payed off. I normally might go downstairs to photograph an image like this but instead I stayed upstairs and photographed over the railing to capture this perfect moment.
I always have the camera ready because you never know when a moment like this will happen.
The wedding took place at St. Elis in Brooklyn Ohio. A beautiful church filled with so many beautiful moments.
If you are not familiar with a Greek wedding ceremony there is much more singing, and the bride and groom exchange crowns. The traditions are very sacred making the marriage the perfect union.
After we spent time at the Vault we had some fun down at Voinovich park in Cleveland.
It was a little windy outside on the lake but it lead to some cute shots with the girls….go bridesmaids!
I am so happy the light was so beautiful, a reflection on the love these two share.
The wedding took place at the Arcade in Downtown Cleveland Ohio. A timeless venue with an epic backdrop. Still one of my favorite venues in the City and a perfect fit for Joe and Lindsey.
Joe and Lindsey took dancing lessons and they were both a little nervous to perform it together.
As you can see once they got started these two were lost in each other.
Party Time!
I love the chair ride, the images are always so much fun. The night ended too quickly but there are going to be so many great moments for these two as they start their lives together.
We love ring shoots at Making the Moment, so I decided to end the post with a little beee-dazzle encore.
