So, we’ve got some Theatre District, some LeBron, all of the Cavs, some freaking glam dress and a sparklin’ bridesmaids. Complete, of course, with attitude, personality, and suave. It’s like a Molotov cocktail of awesome.
Exhibit A. We are all witnesses and we all have arms like LeBron. All of us.
Exhibit B: Style or GTFO. #CLETilIDie
Exhibit C: Sorry, E. 4th, but the couple kinda showed you up. You still look good but you’re running a not-so-close 2nd. Cry here, on my shoulder.
This. This is what I love for. Getting ready in the city whilst getting ready literally in the city. It’s too much. I can’t even right now. I can’t.
You seein’ this dress? Are you witnessing this sparkle? It’s wonderful and it’s Ashley. It’s so so Ashley.
This is a completely candid moment. Not posed. They were chilling like this. It looks like a magazine ad for Brut. Or a cut from a J-Crew commercial. This is when you know you’ve found your people.
Again, candid. There’s nothing closer to you than your girls on your wedding day. Take advantage of it, ladies. They’ll get you water, and a donut, and some mixed nuts, and your misplaced tissues, and….
Chilled beverage to keep your eyes from puffing. ROFL.
Exhibit X or whatever: Genuine Elation
Hitched @ The Old Stone Church downtown, right off of Public Square. Pretty much iconic. Pretty much Ashley and Matt.
Couple of kegs along for the ride. Partying like they just. Got. Married.
It’s awesome finding these little nooks that you’ve never used before. I’m not sure I remember where this place is, but I know that I like it 🙂
Ashley let me do what I wanted, which is always key. Wow, that sounds really lame when I say it, but all I mean is that trust goes a long way. She spun, and the dress flared, and it was amazing.
Reception held right in the heart of Playhouse Square @ They Wyndham. They did a beautiful job in the room.
This is one of my favorites. Her dress. His face. A real moment.
Cue jubilation. Cue party. Cue smiles.
This dude. He was hilarious. I can feel him making fun of Matt in this photo and it’s glorious. There was also an awesome story about Vegas in there. To protect the innocent, we’ll keep it as vague as that.
Ashley’s father is an amazing man. As if his first look with his daughter wasn’t intense enough, he had to go and do this. The most genuine hug I think I’ve ever captured.
Friggin’ left shark. You can’t take him anywhere. Seriously. Compliments of our LiveBooth, worn by this guy, eyes hidden with a beard and a beer. But honestly, what else do you need at your friends’ wedding reception other than a Katie Perry Left Shark costume, a beard, and a beer? All else is futile, unnecessary, and baggage.
I coined this reception “Double-Exposure Day” because I give random, innocuous things titles sometimes.
“The Number One” is the best dance move, bar none.
I love the view and absolutely love the look of that room once evening hits. More double-exposures for your viewing pleasure.
Ashley’s ring. It was also her grandmother’s. Wear it with bride, my dear.
Some late-night fun. Snuck away for a few minutes and walked away with something cool 🙂
Ashley and Matt, thanks for sharing yourselves with me. Thanks for sharing your friends with me, and thank you for sharing some laughs with me. I’d say let’s do it again sometime, but that would be weird, so let’s just do some family photos soon, k? K 🙂
