It’s true, we photograph and film a lot of Indian weddings, and you’d think that by now we would have seen it all. But it is actually true that every wedding is different, and every couple has their unique story to share. That’s why we love what we do! We get to capture those special, unique moments that make your wedding [ and your love ] stand out from the rest. Since no two weddings are the same, no two weddings will have the same artwork.
Ayushi + Deep’s Indian wedding weekend at the Hilton in Cleveland was such a joy! They were surrounded by so much love of friends and family [ which is evidenced later on ] and let me tell you, their wedding was a whole VIBE. We had the honor of not only photographing it, but filming it, as well! Today, you get to experience amazing imagery AND a beautiful example of the lovingly crafted, highly sought after and seriously revered: Same Day Edit wedding video.
The first thing you need to know about Ayushi + Deep is that they have impeccable style. And we should know, we are certified fashionistas [ among other things ]. It takes a heightened sense of style and confidence to pull of a maroon wedding tux; but this man pulled it off with panache.
See? We’ve got some style up our sleeves, too 😉 Being an experienced wedding photographer means knowing how to pose and articulate your couples in just the right light.
I wasn’t kidding when I said their wedding was a VIBE. These here, these are the vibes. And we’re obsessed.

That’s right. Every word you’ve read on this page so far regarding this wonderful wedding [ catch the alliteration there. Pretty brilliant, right? ] has all been word-smithed and crafted by us [ we’re not only gifted wedding photographers, but also not too shabby in the content writing department ] Humble Brag / Self enthusiasm aside; we mean every word on this page, but it’s important that you hear from our couple too.
We asked a few questions of them about their wedding; and hope you enjoy their answers 😀
What did you love about your wedding?
Watching the Baraat from the balcony, garba event having all of our friends and family join us, AND OF COURSE seeing Deep all dressed up wedding day.
What would you do Different?
Eating more of the food off our menu and making more time to see all of our guests! Time truly flies during your wedding weekend!
What was it like to work with us?
The Making The Moment Team are certified Crown Straighteners!!! They made me feel like an absolute queen, hyping me up and making the creative photo sessions relax and fun!
What photograph(s) are connecting emotionally?
The photo wedding morning with my Mom and then with my Dad. They truly captured the love from my parents. And the photos from Deep and mines engagement creative session because we had finally let lose and enjoyed the fact we got married for first time.
Did you have a theme you were trying to hit for your wedding [ vibe / color palette / etc ]?
For our wedding day, I imagined a rose garden vibe that highlighted my all red wedding outfit.
Here it is: The Same Day Edit wedding video! Some of our couple choose to have a short wedding video crafted for them on the wedding day itself alongside their wedding Focused Film. It’s a labor of love, and a truly unique piece of art the couple can enjoy for years to come [ and show off to their friends and family while everyone is still riding that wedding high! ]

The bride and groom are lovingly covered in turmeric paste, a traditional part of the indian wedding weekend.
We promise, it’s with love. It’s also one of my favorite parts of being an Indian wedding photographer.
It’s a LOT of fun to witness! Just dont’ get caught up in the mess; it can really affect a wedding photographer’s lenses 😜

While it did not rain on Ayushi + Deep’s wedding day, finding a puddle called for a reflective, artsy wedding photograph. I photographed this just outside of the Cleveland Downtown Hilton before their Indian wedding ceremony!

It’s the perfect backdrop for our bride to show off some moves [ and that incredible outfit ] at her Garba.
Huge shoutout to Therese at Electric Karma and Alina from Party Decor for their spectacular work on the Indian wedding decor, as well! She is a gem, and I’ll give her a proper introduction in a bit.

But we cannot skip over the Barat goodness! Is that DJ Sobe I see above making the Barat happen? It is. He’s one of our favorite Indian wedding DJs!
To any Cleveland haters out there, we will love our Brownies to the end! But I digress.

Let’s get these two hitched! I love seeing a groom process down the aisle before the Hindu wedding ceremony. Always accompanied by his parents; it’s such a great moment before all the fun happens.

A moment for this incredible mandap, the work of Alina at Party Decor. Seriously, the team of vendors on this wedding was 🤌.
Newlyweds have entered, I mean exited the building! The Dichotomy of this Indian wedding event [ called the Vidaii; featured above ] is touching to me. On one hand you have all the joy and fun of the bubbles; on the other hand you have all the tears of the family as they let their daughter go into her new life of a wife.
It’s about to get very emotional, y’all. In the best way.

Doesn’t everyone dream of having their name in lights on a huge LED screen at their wedding reception? No? Just me?
Obviously it was Ayushi + Deep’s dream, and DJ Sobe understood the assignment.
We need more people to have some light pyrotechnics at their wedding receptions. Cause it’s just so awesome.
