Ahhh the champagne burst. One of the biggest wedding photography trends with impressive staying power [ thanks to social media, probs ]. And for good reason; it’s just so much fun! And not just for the couples; we have a great time with it, too [ as is evidenced below ].
Kate and Tommy brought their own flair to it, though! We had a wonderful session outside the Cleveland Museum of Art, complete with a homemade sweet treat to accompany their celebratory bubbly blast 🍾, courtesy of Kate, herself. Lots of cool pictures and fun moments await!
I have lots to tell you about this couple, but I think first things first, they are styyylllllliiiisssshhhhh.

Plus, they’re super in love. Like, ready-to-get-married in love. And they SHOULD be; did you know they’ve been together since they were 13 years old??

That’s right. Every word you’ve read on this page so far regarding this wonderful wedding [ catch the alliteration there. Pretty brilliant, right? ] has all been word-smithed and crafted by us [ we’re not only gifted wedding photographers, but also not too shabby in the content writing department ] Humble Brag / Self enthusiasm aside; we mean every word on this page, but it’s important that you hear from our couple too.
We asked a few questions of them about their wedding; and hope you enjoy their answers 😀
What was one of your favorite parts of your session?
Honestly just hanging out together and getting to explore some of Wade Oval!
How did you pick your outfits for your session?
Well, I fell in love with the dress I wore months before we even picked a date for our engagement session, everything else was just based off that!
What was it like to work with us?
We truly felt like we were just friends hanging out during our session, it made it so fun and easy!
What are you most excited about for your wedding?
We can’t wait to celebrate our love with all of our family and friends!
If you could describe your partner’s performance during the session in a few short sentences or phrases, how would you do so?
I was so impressed by Tommy! To be honest, I was a little worried going in, but I think he did amazing!
Where will your wedding reception be, and why did you select your venue?
Our reception will be at Hotel Cleveland. We knew we wanted our reception to be at a hotel and Hotel Cleveland really just checked every single box we had! Especially after the amazing renovations they did!
Don’t worry, Kate and Tommy also have a serious side.

The champagne didn’t go to waste! They shared a romantic toast outside the Cleveland Museum of Art.
This was good practice for the wedding day.

Fun fact: Kate made this cake! She is starting a business to sell her tasty confections! It seems entrepreneurialism runs in the family!
Speaking of the family: we photographed Kate’s brother’s wedding last year! It’s so special when we get to celebrate with a family multiple times 💛
